By Moira Arnott on 19th Oct 2007Yesterday I found myself in front of a very enterprising business man who mentioned that he was dealing increasingly with China, he was both exporting his goods to China, and using cheap Chinese manufacturing to get low cost components for his British based factory.
Changing rooms

I'm at that difficult stage where the new business requires more time, but I can't give up the job that is paying the bills until the dress business is more established.

The emphasis was to help designers learn how to work with communities on community projects and commissions. It was particularly useful for me because I do a lot of work in the public realm, and the commissioning bodies almost always require consultation and input from members of the local community.
