Feeling the Pinch
By Charlotte Williams on 27th Aug 2008Fantastic news! We've just been notified that we have received two grants, one from Coalfield Regeneration and another from the CO-OP. These will help to secure our future for some time yet. Being an emerging social enterprise we are still somewhat reliant upon grants. This year it's been very slim pickings, so to speak. Our staff, myself included, have all been on redundancy notice. I've now been able to retract this. Luckily none of the team have chosen to move on, so

Do the same old thing, get the same old results
By Simon Edwards on 8th Aug 2008In my last blog I talked about my (rather dramatic) decision to close down Freestyle so I can put all my effort into NLP. A ‘close-down' actually sounds a bit more dramatic than it actually is; until the jobs that we currently have on come to an end, we're still taking on work if it comes our way, although we're not actually going out and looking for anything. There are a few leads I think we probably will take on because the clients are going to be fun to work with. We've recently
